GS25 to roll out next-day parcel services in Seoul
Both services will initially operate at selected GS25 stores in Seoul, with a nationwide rollout planned.
GS25, the convenience store chain operated by GS Retail, will launch two new parcel-delivery options on 29 December, promising next-day arrival for items lodged before 6pm.
The services target shoppers seeking faster fulfilment without extra fees. “Tomorrow Half-Price” follows GS25’s existing low-cost model: customers drop off and collect parcels at GS25 branches. The new option is designed for next-day turnaround.
“Tomorrow Courier” provides standard door-to-door delivery. Customers can send parcels up to 20kg with a combined size limit of 160cm.
Both services will initially operate at selected GS25 stores in Seoul, with a nationwide rollout planned. Collections and deliveries will be handled via a Deliebox Center, and the service will run every day except public holidays.
A GS Retail spokesperson said the launch reflected growing demand for faster, affordable logistics, adding that the group aimed to expand its platform using its nationwide network, including GS25 and its GS The Fresh supermarkets.
