Habitat for Humanity, Kum & Go partners anew

Habitat for Humanity and convenience store chain Kum & Go are partnering for the fourth consecutive year to build shelters for communities in need.

Kum & Go will give donations and launch in-store fundraisings as support to Habitat's #HomeIsTheKey national campaign.

Between April 1 to April 30, Kum & Go customers may add $1 or more Habitat donation to in-store purchase, donate spare change to countertop donation box "houses", or purchase Kum & Go water, where 10 cents per bottle will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

"This partnership has grown and expanded every year, reaching more families who are working to build a better life for themselves and their families. We are very grateful for Kum & Go’s support,” said Colleen Finn Ridenhour, senior vice president, Development, Habitat for Humanity International.

Since 2014, the c-store chain and its customers have donated more than $1.5 million to the organization, volunteered to build in areas where Kum & Go operates, and built three Kum & Go-sponsored Habitat homes in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Minot, North Dakota; and Story City, Iowa, as a result of the donations.
