Hydrogen stations network in UAE eyed
Establishing a network of hydrogen stations in the United Arab Emirates is being looked into by Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota vehicles in the UAE and the company that launched the region’s first hydrogen station located in Dubai.
In an interview with Gulf News, Saud Abbasi, Managing Director of Toyota at Al-Futtaim Motors, said that it is looking into the feasibility of the project.
Abbasi also revealed plans to open a second hydrogen station, this time in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), Masdar, and Air Liquide.

Toyota Mirai cars are already being tested on the UAE roads although hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles are not yet sold in the country.
