Implico creates a free web-based hydrocarbon quantity conversion calculator

Free quantity conversion of oil products is now available through Implico’s OpenTas QCM (Quantity Conversion Module). Alongside the online tool, they have launched another application for Microsoft Excel.

“The free web-based calculator ‘OpenTAS QCM Web Page’ helps oil and gas experts to perform a whole range of petroleum-related operations 24/7 from everywhere they are – easy, fast and reliable,” said Michael Goerner, head of Marketing & Communications, in statements to PetrolPlaza.

Through a range of general and specific data, which include systems of units (weight, volume, and density), density at test reference temperature, product and selection temperature, or different quantity units, amongst others, the online calculator provides flexible and specific access to hydrocarbon quantity conversion into various units of measure.

“Bulk product quantity values are the bottom-line of profitability for every chemical, oil and gas company. The online calculator provides a precise quantity conversion based on formulas, tables and formulations,” explained Mr. Görner.
