India: First CNG station to run in Assam State
Dibrugarh is all set to start operating its first CNG filling station in Chowkidingee, reports Indian media outlets.
The station, operated by the Assam Gas Company, was inaugurated last week. With this opening, Assam has become the second state in the Northeast after Tripura to get a CNG filling station.
The Assam Gas Company is now looking into opening subsequent stations in Tinsukia, Sivsagar, Jorhat, Golaghat and Guwahati, according to reports.
The CNG price in Delhi is comparatively lesser than petrol and diesel, standing at Rs. 46.60 ($0.65).
