Indian Oil to sell milk
State-owned Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative (HDDC) Federation have finalized an agreement that paves the way for the establishment of milk booths alongside approximately 1,500 IOCL petrol stations.
According to franchiseindia.com, the milk booths under the Vita brand will sell milk and dairy products.
The memorandum of agreement was signed in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who announced that Haryana is the first state to supply milk that comes from desi cow.
Such partnerships, which are currently being worked on with other companies, would create job and business opportunities and promote cow rearing in the state.
