IndianOil signs 5-year fuel supply accord with Nepal Oil
Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) will supply fuel products to Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) effective April 2017 to March 2022 following an agreement signed by top executives of the two companies.
The supply, which will pass through the Patna-Motihari-Amlekhganj Pipeline, can meet NOC's full requirements of all the major fuel products, including petrol, diesel, kerosene, aviation turbine fuel & LPG.
In addition, BS-IV grade fuel, a "green fuel", will also be sold in Nepal.
The supply agreement between IndianOil and NPC started in 1974 and was renewed periodically.
The new supply agreement was signed by PK Das, Executive Director I/C (Supplies), IndianOil, and Gopal Bahadur Khadka, Managing Director, NOC, in the presence of Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of State (Independent Change), India's Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Deepak Bohara, Nepal's Minister for Supplies, Government of Nepal along with other senior officials.
