Ivory Coast fuel network puts in place a mobile laboratory
Vivo Energy Côte d’Ivoire, which runs a network of 172 fuel stations, has put in place a mobile laboratory which will help it to best assure the quality of the Shell products it sells in all its locations, according to a statement released on June 19.
The mobile laboratory started operations on June 17 and is operated by SGS, the company added.
Ben Hassan Ouattara, director general of Vivo Energy Ivory Coast, said that the company would like clients to be reassured that there are such efforts to control quality. The network retails Shell Diesel Extra and Shell Super Extra fuels.
Vivo Energy Ivory Coast has fuel storage capacity of 95,831 cubic meters and employs over 112 people. Most of the 172 stations include convenience stores, Vivo said.
Vivo Energy holds a Shell franchise over 16 African markets. It was created in 2011.
