Kuwait Petroleum to sell Q8 Europoort refinery in Rotterdam, Bloomberg reports
Kuwait Petroleum is looking to sell its Q8 Europoort refinery located in Rotterdam in an auction where the leading bidder is a logistics company named HES and another is a Swiss company, according to a report published by Bloomberg News June 10.
HES is owned by holdings Carlyle Group has 30% and Riverstone, which has 70%. The final decision is expected within a month, according to the report.
An HES official told Bloomberg the company was indeed interested but excused himself from giving more details citing a confidentiality agreement.
