Leighton O’Brien expands global fuel cleaning footprint into Africa
Leighton O’Brien has expanded its global fuel cleaning operations into southern Africa following a licensed service partnership signed with underground storage tank monitoring specialist, PetroMonitor.
The agreement expands PetroMonitor’s suite of Leighton O’Brien’s technologies including tank integrity testing, wetstock management and now tank cleaning and fuel restoration. PetroMonitor’s technicians will deliver the fuel cleaning system, supported by fuel data analysis and reporting by Leighton O’Brien’s analysts.
“We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Leighton O’Brien. We have been conducting product sampling on all sites for tank or line testing since 2015, so we have a breadth of data that indicates that at least 35 per cent of all tank systems across all oil companies, product grades, and locations show issues around fuel contamination,” Bryan Bartley CEO of PetroMonitor.
Bartley said PetroMonitor is progressing market development opportunities with major oil companies.
