Love’s expands reach in Minnesota with new opening
The new travel stop adds 84 truck parking spaces and 75 jobs in Anoka County as well as the brand’s classic convenience and fuel offerings.
Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new location in Minnesota, expanding its reach into Columbus with a new forecourt. The 12,000 square feet facility was inaugurated last week near Interstate 35, adding 84 truck parking spaces and 75 jobs to Anoka County.
“The fourth Love’s in Minnesota will provide customers with clean spaces and friendly faces when they stop at the Heart of the Highway. The new Love's in Columbus will offer plenty of amenities to ensure that professional drivers and four-wheel customers get back on the road quickly,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's.
The new site offers drivers its standard offer of brand-name snacks, fresh kitchen concept, bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, Hardee’s and Godfather’s Pizza restaurants, the latter scheduled to open on the first of September.
Other amenities of Love’s new 24/7 service travel centre include 72 car parking spaces, nine diesel bays, 10 showers, laundry facilities, CAT scale, a Speedco location, a dog park and a mobile to Go Zone, equipped with the latest GPS, headsets and smartphone accessories.
In honour of the grand opening, the company will donate $2,000 to a local non-profit organisation.
