Love’s Travel Stops continues to expand its Truck Care business with the opening of five new Speedco locations across the United States. The new sites are open 24/7 and offer tire, lube and light mechanical services, as well as DOT inspections, for professional drivers and fleets. The installations are also available for commercial drivers.

The new facilities are located in the states of Iowa, Minnesota, New York and Missouri, building upon its current network of preventive maintenance. Currently the company owns more than 1,500 maintenance bays and 430 locations after its first location with special services for trucks in 2008.

“With more than 1,500 maintenance bays and 430 locations, Love’s has the most expansive truck care network on the highway. Our goal is to get professional truck drivers back on the road quickly and we’ll continue to add locations and services to meet that goal,” said Gary Price, Executive Vice President of Total Truck Solutions for Love’s.

The latest Speedco openings of the brand date back to April of this year, when seven new sites opened throughout the United States. In total, the firm has inaugurated 12 new care truck locations in 2022 as part of its expansion plans announced back in January. Currently, the brand operates more than 590 locations in 41 states and employs more than 37,000 people.

In April of this year, the brand celebrated the graduation of its Truck Care Academy’s first class. The paid training consists of a five-week, in residency program that aims to train recently hired diesel technicians to provide service to customers and educate them in seven heavy-duty systems with classroom and hands-on experience. After completing the accelerated training program, graduates are placed at a Love’s Truck Care or Speedco location as a level five diesel technician.
