Lukoil president holds talks in Baghdad, investments may increase
Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov held talks in Baghdad with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi which also included high ranking Russian government officials and were aimed at strengthening Lukoil’s and Russian presence in this country including potential investments.
“Alekperov assured the Iraqi prime minister that the Russian business was interested in still better cooperation with Iraq and in broader investments in the country’s economy,” the statement said.
