The smart solution will enable users to purchase fuel with the e-wallet by selecting a fuel station and the amount of fuel required.
WeChat Pay MY has recently unveiled a e-wallet concept that will offer consumers the possibility to buy petrol before arriving to the station. Once consumers arrive at the site, a camera will instantly detect the car plate to activate the pump and refuel based on the amount paid for. Users will be on the way immediately.
The company has presented other innovative payment service experience in store for the Malaysian market: in convenience stores, for food and beverage outlets and even a regular roadside vendor stall, among others.
