Mexico: A total of 125 new permits for fuel stations approved in Puebla State since 2010
Of the 475 fuel stations in the state of Puebla, about one-fourth of them, received their authorization between 2010 and 2015, according to a report recently published by e-consulta.com which in turn used statistics from state oil company Pemex, which has a monopoly in the fuel retail industry in Mexico.
In 2010 a total of 15 fuel stations were authorized, 28 in 2011 and the same number in 2012, according to the information. In 2013 a total of 20 were opened while in 2014 the number rose to 29. So far this year, five stations have been authorized.
