MOL’s Fresh Corner unveils first standalone location in Prague
The food and coffee concept expands beyond fuel stations with a new outlet in the city center.
Fresh Corner, the quick-service concept known from MOL fuel stations, has opened its first standalone branch in the heart of Prague. Located in the passage connecting Wenceslas Square and Jungmann Square, the new café marks the brand’s expansion beyond traditional forecourt locations.
The compact 37m2 store features a modern self-service coffee machine, hot dogs in regular and XXL sizes, Pizza Wraps, sandwiches, ice cream, and chilled beverages, including beer. The interior, designed in collaboration with MOL Group architects, follows the aesthetic standards required for the building’s historical character.
“Fresh Corner has become an integral part of MOL service stations and is synonymous with quality food and coffee on the go,” said Luboš Dinka, Managing Director of MOL Czech Republic. “Over the past ten years, we have built more than 1,300 Fresh Corner locations across nine countries. We believe in the strength of this concept and plan to introduce it more frequently in non-fuel locations, as we have already done at Budapest’s Keleti railway station and Bratislava Airport.”
Fresh Corner celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Since its first Czech opening in 2015 in Vyškov on the D1 motorway, the network has grown steadily, selling over 12.5 million cups of coffee and 5 million hot dogs in 2024 alone.
