MRH acquires UK’s big independent service station chain
United Kingdom’s largest independent petrol and convenience retailer MRH has acquired West Country independent service station chain Chartman Retail, reports forecourttrader.co.uk.
Considered as one the largest independent service station operator, Chartman Retail operates 10 service stations with Spar-branded convenience stores across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, and Dorset, and offers Esso, Shell, and Murco fuel brands.
The strategic acquisition aims to boost MRH’s expansion to England’s South West and offer employees with growth opportunities.
CCT Wholesalers will continue its business with Chartman Retail as well as provide supply to MRH service stations.
