Neste appoints Christian Ståhlberg as General Counsel
Finland-based refiner and fuel retailer Neste has appointed Christian Ståhlberg as General Counsel and member of the Neste Executive Board.
Christian Ståhlberg, 42, will join Neste on 1 July 2017, at the latest, and will report to President and CEO Matti Lievonen. Neste's current General Counsel Matti Hautakangas will move to Houston, to take the responsibility of leading Neste's legal operations in North America.
"I am happy to have Christian to lead our legal operations and to strengthen our Executive Board. He is an experienced corporate lawyer and his previous work history in Neste supports this nomination", says President and CEO Matti Lievonen.
Christian Ståhlberg will transfer to Neste from Rettig Group.
