New Zealand: Allied Petroleum strengthens bulk oil delivery in the Mainland

The company re-purposed an aviation fuel tanker to bulk Mobil lubricant deliveries in the South Island.

Allied Petroleum, leading fuel suppliers for petrol stations, commercial customers and farmers in New Zealand, has recently re-purposed an aviation fuel tanker, now dedicated to bulk Mobil lubricant deliveries.

While the company provided bulk runs for a long time, demand for this service is increasing from businesses looking for a more sustainable supply solution.

Bulk oil supply to site storage tanks results in significant reductions in spill potential and the risk of product contamination, says the company in a press release. Environmentally it’s an important step forward too, as it avoids the issue of what to do with empty containers, and the residue product left within them, it added.

Based in Christchurch, this tanker can be seen on the roads throughout the South Island.

Allied Petroleum is a nationwide bulk fuel delivery specialist, providing onsite fuel delivery to farmers, quarries, transport operators, rural and civil contractors and many other commercial businesses. The company’s nationwide fuel stop network consists of over 80 petrol stations and truck stops, along with fuel card options for heavy fleet operators and consumers who operate light vehicles.
