New Zealand: Z Energy to receive $9.3m in fuels repayment
New Zealand fuel operator Z Energy will be getting a $9.3 million repayment from the country's Customs Service over a co-mingled dispute.
The company, which has over 200 service stations and 90 truck stops, said its final settlement with New Zealand´s Customs Service in relation to the treatment of fuels at Wiri Oil Services and other terminals came in at $18.5 million.
The new figure means Z Energy will receive back $9.3 million of the amount it paid last year to settle the dispute – Z paid Customs $23 million last September, reported BusinessDesk.
Last week Z Energy installed in Wellington its first fast-charging station for electric vehicles. The installation is part of Z’s commitment to install six rapid-charge EV charging stations at sites in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch over the coming weeks.
