Nobel Oil enters Romania's gas station market

A new player enters Romania's fuel retailing market with the opening of Nobel Oil's first gas station in the country.

The energy group from Azerbaijan plans to form a strong retailing network in Romania with the opening of 80 to 90 units during the next five years, reported Romania Insider.

Romania becomes the first country with Nobel Oil gas stations, with most of the company´s operations having been focused on the upstream  market in Azerbaijan.

Nobel Oil steps into the Romanian market at a very active stage with all major retailers – OMV Petrom, Lukoil, Rompetrol and MOL – having been involved in acquisitions and expansions over the last months.
