OLA Energy appoints new CEO for Tunisia
Abdulftah Shamila brings extensive management experience within OLA Energy’s African network.
OLA Energy Tunisie has named Abdulftah Shamila as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Abdulhak Mohamed El Khablashi, who moves to other leadership roles within the group’s African operations. The appointment, announced this week, signals continuity in the company’s expansion and investment plans in Tunisia.
Shamila brings extensive management experience within OLA Energy’s African network and is expected to steer the Tunisian subsidiary through a period of strategic development. His mandate includes strengthening partnerships and driving sustainable growth in a market where energy supply and infrastructure remain critical to economic stability.
OLA Energy Holdings, headquartered in Morocco, is one of Africa’s leading energy players. The group operates more than 1,300 service stations in 17 countries, serving around 500,000 customers daily.
Tunisia’s energy sector faces mounting challenges, including balancing domestic demand with regional supply chains.
