Orlen Deutschland names new CEO

Jarosław Marczak has stepped up after being appointed to the Management Board of the company last month and specializes in digitisation and the transformation of processes within companies.

Orlen Deutschland has announced the appointment of its new CEO. After being appointed to the Management Board of the company on the 1st of February, Jarosław Marczak has now taken on the role of Chair of the Management Board.

Marczak is a manager with experience working in international business, specializing in mergers and divestments. With 20 years of experience \working in board and management positions in companies listed on the major stock exchanges, he specializes in digitisation and the transformation of processes within companies. 

As a member of the Steering Committee, his responsibilities included supervising the "carve-out" process for the separation of Siemens Energy from the Siemens AG Group.

Jarosław Marczak (Chief Executive Officer) joins the existing management board at ORLEN Deutschland GmbH, consisting of Dariusz Pawlik (Chief Operating Officer) and Oskar Skiba (Chief Financial Officer). Piotr Guział, the former Chief Development Officer of ORLEN Deutschland GmbH, moved to the position of Chief Executive Advisor on 10 February 2023 and now reports directly to the new CEO, Jarosław Marczak.
