Oxxo Gas has marked its 30th anniversary in Mexico with the release of its 2025 Sustainability Report, outlining progress across environmental, social and governance initiatives while reflecting on three decades of growth in the country's fuel retail sector.

The company commemorated the milestone with the unveiling of a plaque at its Eugenio Garza Sada service station in Monterrey, a site selected to represent Oxxo Gas' evolution from a fuel retailer into what it describes as a broader mobility ecosystem.

“Today we proudly celebrate a 30-year history, but also with a great responsibility toward the future. The presentation of our report reflects how we are integrating sustainability into our business strategy and how we continue generating value for our employees, customers and communities,” said Jaime Longoria, CEO of Oxxo Gas.

According to the report, the company donated more than 30,000 liters of fuel through its Litros con Causa program, benefiting six social organizations. On the environmental side, Oxxo Gas reported the installation of more than 2,000 solar panels and wind energy systems across 113 service stations, while vapor recovery systems are now in operation at all locations.

Founded in 1996 with its first stations in Monterrey, Oxxo Gas has expanded its operations to approximately 545 service stations and 222 workshops, supported by around 7,900 employees. The company said it serves more than 370,000 customers each day.
