OXXO launches car insurance service for tourists in the U.S.
The retailer has partnered with Chubb to offer protection for Mexican travelers visiting the neighboring country by car.
OXXO has launched an insurance solution for Mexican tourists visiting the United States by car. The convenience store operator has partnered with Chubb to offer the quick access service to those who travel to the neighboring country whether for shopping, vacation or business.
Customers can purchase the insurance at over 21,000 stores in Mexico located in Baja California, Southern Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
Chubb's Automobile Liability Insurance for Cars with Mexican license plates in the U.S. will provide coverage for Third Party Liability, Medical Expenses to Occupants, automobile assistance and legal defense services in the U.S., where auto insurance is mandatory. Travelers may purchase the insurance for days, weeks, months or up to 365 days with no maximum stay restriction.
