Pacific Energy opens first fully-fledged service station in Fiji

After a two year project that cost nearly two million dollars, the fuel retail brand has set up its first branded location to offer drivers fuel and convenience solutions.

Pacific Energy has opened its first fully-fledged service station in Fiji that offers its customers fuel and convenience solutions on the road. The new site is located on the Kings Highway at Waimicia and was completed after two years due to facing multiple setbacks and delays due to the recent Covid-19 crisis.

A total investment of $2 million was necessary to complete the project, which the company completed alongside its partner George Shiu Raj, according to a report by local news site The Fiji Times. During the opening ceremony, he thanked chiefs in the area for leasing the land to him in order to build the new fuel retail site.

“Congratulations to George Shiu Raj and the management of One Stop Fuel on their perseverance and their resolve to continue building the site despite the challenges faced with Covid and the cement shortages, we are here to be able to open the service station today,” said Nemani Kobiti, Sales & Marketing Manager at Pacific Energy.

The service station has been equipped with eight fuel pumps, a LPG pump, a lube bay and a tyre centre to amp its offer to drivers. It is also built with a mini-supermarket to offer its customers a wide range of convenience solutions while on their journey.

Pacific Energy has also recently announced a special discount for fuel services. Anyone in Fiji who wants to refuel at any of the brand’s stations will get 3 cents off per litre filled at the site.
