Petrobras promotion of new vehicles give-away draws nearly one million participants
Petrobras Distribuidora promotion of a car give-away, named “Brazil buys here”, where it offered to give two Mitsubishi Lancer and other new vehicles has drawn 980,000 consumers in the four months it was in place since February.
The main prize was awarded in a Cascol Combustiveis location in Brasilia, Petrobras Distribuidora said in a statement issued in June.
“The objective of the action was to show the Petrobras post network as a meeting point for all Brazilians,” the statement said.
Other prizes to be awarded in coming weeks include a second Mitsubishi Lancer, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a Mitsubishi pick-up truck, a Renault Minibus and a Volvo truck.
Some 3,600 smaller prizes, from bicycles to skateboards have also been distributed, Petrobras said.
