Petrobras stations to accept card-less fuelling thanks to alliance with FLEETCOR
BR petrol stations in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, among other parts of Brazil will begin accepting card-less fuel payments following a new partnership forged between Petrobras Distribuidora and FLEETCOR Technologies.
Through FLEETCOR’s Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag affixed to the vehicles’ windshield, customers may pay for fuel at BR gas stations without leaving their vehicle, allowing a faster, safer, and more secure payment experience.
CGMP (also known as STP), a FLEETCOR company doing business as Sem Parar in Brazil, will provide BR customers enrolling in the program with an RFID tag.
As country’s leading electronic toll payments provider, CGMP will also promote the payment solution through its existing sales channels, while BR will promote the solution to its more than 12 million “Premmia” loyalty program members.
