PetroChina eyes buying petrol stations in Brazil, Pakistan, West Africa
Asia’s largest oil and gas producer PetroChina targets to buy petrol stations and storage facilities in Nigeria, Angola, Pakistan, and Brazil.
PetroChina’s global expansion is aimed to compete head on with oil giants and establish its footprint in emerging markets, according to Reuters.
The amount of investment has not been disclosed but plans are expected to start as early as next year.
PetroChina is a listed company of state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation.
