Petrolina opens first LPG filling station in Cyprus

Oil and gas company Petrolina has opened the first liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) station carrying the Agip brand in Cyprus.

Located on Larnaca Avenue in the country's capital Nicosia, the station aims to offer an alternative, more economical, and eco-friendly fuel to Cypriot motorists in line with Petrolina's broader strategy to offer new and innovative products.

The gas station, according to the company, meets all the safety and environmental standards set by the European Union and Cypriot authorities.

"Business moves of this kind offer the consumer alternatives to energy use and contribute to a better quality of life," said Yiorgos Lakkotropi, Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
