Petron Philippines gas stations accepting government-issued cash cards
Seven hundred and forty participating Petron gas stations across the Philippines are accepting cash cards the national government has issued to drivers and operators of public utility jeepneys.
These petrol stations, visibly marked with “Pantawid Pasada Program” signage, were selected based on the volume of traffic for public utility vehicles, reports Manila Bulletin.
The Philippine government’s “Pantawid Pasada” fuel subsidy program gives drivers cash cards or vouchers so they can avail of fuel with discounted prices.
“As the leading Filipino-owned oil company, we fully support the government’s move to provide this needed relief in diesel prices to public utility jeepneys and the riding public,” Petron President and CEO Ramon S. Ang said.
On top of the government financial support, Petron reminded that customers can still use their Petron Super Driver Card (SDC) to earn special bonus points, discounts with merchant partners and instant cash back in terms of peso points for every purchase of fuels, lubricants and Gasul at its service stations.
