Petroperú reaches 12 VAO stores across Peru
A new convenience store has been integrated into a service station as part of the retailer’s goal to expand convenience offering.
Petroperú has opened a new VAO convenience store at a service station in Tarapoto, in the San Martín region. This new location has grown its store count up to 12 sites across its fuel retail network, keeping up with its commitment to expand its network throughout the country.
During the inauguration ceremony, officials from the state-owned oil company coincided in highlighting this new step in the consolidation of the company's strategy. Its objective is to improve the customer experience at Petroperú's service stations, contributing to its mission of supplying the national market with the best quality fuels.
This retail concept aims to provide a new experience to consumers at service stations affiliated with the brand. In addition to offering very competitive opening hours, these facilities have a wide assortment of products for visitors.
The new stores are the result of an alliance between the company and the owners of the service stations, which currently have 12 VAO stores in Lima, Huánuco, Piura, Trujillo and Arequipa. The company's goal is to end the year with more than 20 stores throughout the country.
