Philippines: Thailand’s PTT to open biggest station

PTT Philippines, a subsidiary of Petroleum Authority of Thailand Public Co. Ltd., is set to open its biggest station in the country by the middle of the year, reported the Business World.

The two-hectare service station, as also reported by the Philippine Star, will rise on Barangay Macangcung, Concepcion, Tarlac, along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).

It will be the company’s second Platinum Station in the Philippines. The first one was opened last year in Lucena City.

Platinum Stations are bigger stations with parking similar to PTT Thailand Platinum Stations, which also offer multiple services such as gas pumps, food on the go, car services, toilets, and its signature coffee shop Café Jungle.

The Thai oil giant has continued to pursue its expansion plans in the Philippines, where it has recently opened two new stations bringing to 96 the total number of PTT gas stations in the country.
