Poland’s largest oil refiner, PKN Orlen, is joining the international trend towards increasing non-fuel sales by adding dozens of convenience stores. Of its network of 1,760 gas stations only 100 currently have O!Shop retail outlets.

The company is also adding bicycle rental services to its offering. “The new service will be set up in six cities. Thirty-six bicycle stations will be set up,” Grębosz said, according to Business Insider.

Although PKN Orlen still has room to increase its convenience sales, the company has already developed the coffee part of its business as more than 1,500 of its stations have a café.

O!Shop is PKN Orlen’s brand for convenience stores at gas stations.
