Proviridis launches new multi-energy station in northern France
Operated under the V-Gas brand, the new location will offer CNG, LNG, and EV ultra-fast charging. The facility will soon deploy hydrogen refuelling points.
Proviridis, a supplier of low-carbon multi-energy filling stations, continues with its expansion plans in France with the opening of a new location in the Hauts-de-France region, in the northern part of the country. Located in the city of Dourges, Pas-de-Calais department, the Proviridis’ new multi-energy station will operate under the V-Gas flag.
Dourges station currently offers gas both in its compressed (CNG) and liquefied (LNG) form, and ultra-fast charging points (200 kw) for electric vehicles. The facility will soon be equipped with hydrogen refuelling pumps, reports Gaz-Mobilité.fr.
V-Gas multi-energy station in Dourges also produces its own electricity thanks to a natural gas-powered generator and a 90 m² photovoltaic roof. According to Gaz-Mobilité, the system autonomously supplies the entire station with energy, and feeds the electricity produced back into the grid to support the premises when needed.
Green energy power company Proviridis initially focused on NGVs supply and distribution, with a strong focus on biomethane. Through its subsidiary V-Gas, the company has expanded its operations and specialised in the construction of multi-energy filling stations.
