Quicklee's opens 28th location after new acquisition
The retailer has purchased a Mobil service station located in Irondequoit as part of its recent expansion strategy.
Quicklee's Convenience Stores has acquired a new site to operate as part of its recent expansion strategy. The retailer will now operate the Hudson & Titus Mobil forecourt located in Irondequoit. The new site marks the brand’s 28th store and its 12th to be opened in Monroe County.
“Quicklee's was founded over 25 years ago with the mission of bringing more convenience to the lives of people in communities we serve. With the acquisition of the Hudson & TItus Mobil location, we are continuing our mission, ensuring the Irondequoit community has quick and easy access to fuel, food, snacks, beverages, and more for years to come,” said Brian Mongi, General Manager of Quicklee's.
Recently, the company has made expansion a priority, with new stores acquired in Dalton, Lyons and Bloomfield as well as new builds completed in Belmont and Batavia. In addition, the brand has a new location nearing completion on Culver Road in Irondequoit to keep its momentum going.
“Every new location we open is carefully selected to maximise our impact on, and benefit to the communities we call home. In short, we don’t just expand for the sake of it, we are motivated by the difference we can make, be it by creating new jobs, or simply offering the community a better selection of goods,” added said Ken Perelli, Vice President and COO of the company.
The new Quicklee's Hudson and Titus location will undergo a rebranding as part of the acquisition, with new signage to be added and additional employees hired to help serve customers. Future plans will focus on maximising the store front and conversion of the service area into more store space.
