Sheetz boss named new NACS chairman
Joe Sheetz, president and CEO of US convenience store chain Sheetz, has started his 2017 - 2018 term as chairman of NACS The Association for Convenience and Fuel Retailing this week in time for the NACS show. The NACS Show, held October 17 – 20 in Chicago, is the global convenience and fuel retailing industry’s premier event.
Sheetz leads family-owned c-store network with more than $6.9 billion in revenue and nearly 18,000 employees.
Sheetz previously served in various positions on the NACS Executive Committee, a body composed of industry leaders who provide strategic direction and financial oversight to the association.
The new members of NACS Board of Directors were also named during the NACS Show in Chicago.
NACS advances the role of convenience stores as positive economic, social and philanthropic contributors to the communities they serve.
