Shell may sell lubricant business in China, Dow Jones reports

Oil major Royal Dutch Shell wants to sell a stake in a lubricants business in China and the potential transaction could be worth up to $500 million, according to a report published December 11 by the Dow Jones Business News service.

The sale process has allegedly started already and it involves the sale of a 75% stake in Tongyi, it added.

An email sent to Shell by PetrolPlaza to try to confirm the information was not immediately replied.
