SOCAR Petroleum opens a new filling station in Azerbaijan
The oil company expands its network of sites operating under the SOCAR brand to 33.
SOCAR Petroleum CJSC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan's State Oil Company SOCAR, increased its footprint in Azerbaijan with the opening of its 33 filling station operating under the SOCAR brand, reports Trend News Agency.
The new site, located in Baku, will feature seven pumps able to simultaneously provide service to twelve small vehicles and two large-capacity trucks. Gasoline of Super, Premium and RON-92 brands, as well as diesel will be offered in the pumps.
All locations under the SOCAR brand in Azerbaijan are equipped with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling points.
SOCAR Petroleum has a network of 33 filling stations and 11 oil bases in Azerbaijan, and it operates the only CNG terminal in the country.
SOCAR Petroleum CJSC was established in January 2008 and is engaged in the retail trade of petroleum products, expanding the network of filling stations under the SOCAR brand. The company opened its first filling stations in Azerbaijan in May 2010.
