FreshStop, the South African convenience store chain at Caltex stations, opened its 330th store in Bapsfontein, Gauteng. The landmark site has been upgraded and now boasts a brand new FreshStop store.

August Fleischman, manager of the Caltex station, is very excited about the opening of the FreshStop store. “We cannot wait for the opening. We’ve done takeaways over the years but we knew we would need to do more, so we decided to join the FreshStop brand. We are extremely excited to show our loyal and new customers our new food offerings and quality products and services.”

In addition to FreshStop Bapsfontein’s range of fresh fruit and vegetables, selection of grocery items and many convenient, on-the-go snacks and refreshments; the store will now offer Crispy Chicken and Grill to Go outlets, hot takeaways, as well as a full Barista-service House of Coffees coffee bar.

As a result of the upgrade, FreshStop Bapsfontein has grown its staff complement by almost 10 employees who travel a great distance to work from Daveyton, Putfontein and outlying areas to serve their customers.

“Our store is beautiful, fresh with new and exciting offers that I haven’t seen in Bapsfontein in my 24 years here, so we hope our customer will be just as excited. It’s the perfect convenience stop to fill up your lunchbox, buy a breakfast and coffee on the way to work and purchase your fresh fruit and vegetables,” concludes Fleischman.
