Spain’s oil products consumption fell 26% in a decade
Consumption of oil products in Spain kept increasing reaching a peak of 75 million tonnes in 2007 however because of the crisis started a year later in 2008 the trend reversed and after declines the total was only 55 million in 2013, according to a report from the Spanish Association of Operators of Oil Products (Asociacion Espanola de Operadores de Productos Petroliferos).
