Spanish antitrust authority imposes 8.75 million euro fine against Repsol
The Spanish antitrust authority, known for its Spanish language acronym CNMC, has been fined 8.7 million euro because it failed to comply with a resolution going back to 2009, according to a report by the authority from mid-March.
The company was found guilty of “indirect price fixation.”
The sanction originates from irregularities which were not addressed timely in the manner that the authority had required.
The authority has imposed other smaller fines to BP and Cepsa in relation to these same irregularities, the CNMC added.
