St1 has begun rebranding a series of service stations in Finland’s Oulu region, transitioning Shell-branded locations to the St1 identity as part of its broader Nordic One Brand strategy.

The effort, which began earlier this year in the Helsinki area, is now underway in northern Finland, with work starting in Kempele and Oulunsalo in early June and continuing through July. The rebranding will cover ten stations across the region, with additional changes planned in nearby areas such as Kalajoki, Ylivieska, Kuusamo, Rovaniemi, and Ranua.

Although the branding is changing, everyday services will remain in place. Existing staff will continue their roles, now under a refreshed St1 visual identity, as all sites will remain open during the transition.

St1 has operated Shell-branded sites in Finland under a licensing agreement since 2010. With that agreement coming to an end, the company is consolidating its fuel retail network under one brand across Finland, Sweden, and Norway.

Around 630 Shell-branded stations will be rebranded as St1, resulting in a unified Nordic network of approximately 1,250 stations.
