Switzerland to have 150 Superchargers by 2018
Swiss company GOtthard FASTcharge will be rolling out this summer chargers capable of delivering up to 150 kW with plans to establish a network of 150 Superchargers by 2018, reported electrek.co. This in line with the company’s mission to provide “Supercharger for All.”
One hundred fifty electric vehicle (EV) chargers will be available in 100 locations across the country each equipped with three charging options: CCS and CHAdeMO for DC fast-charging and a level 2 AC charger.
The company will partner with gas stations, restaurants, and hotels along highways. The chargers are also compatible with the Swisscharge network.
EVs are popular in Switzerland, a country with a land area that is easier to cover with charging stations. Tesla S has even outsold any other fuel-powered luxury sedan in the country.
