Tokheim Dundee achieves OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety certification
Tokheim announced that the Dispenser Manufacturing Centre (DMC) in Dundee, UK has achieved OHSAS 18001 certification for their Health and Safety Management System.
The Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification (OHSAS) certificate requires organisations to identify, manage and strictly control health and safety risks in their workplace. The standard is based on the Plan – Do – Check – Act management process and it has been designed to be compatible with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certifications.
Ken Scobie, General Manager of the Dispenser Manufacturing Centre in Dundee, UK said: “The accreditation has been a great success for our Dundee plant and it is a recognition of the significant effort and dedication of many of our colleagues to improve the Health & Safety standards. It is a significant milestone for our business and it has clearly set us on a path to a cultural change on Health, Safety and Environmental performance.”
