Topaz invests €26mn on service stations
Topaz (Circle K Ireland), Ireland’s largest fuel and convenience retailer, is investing €26 million across its network of more than 430 stations over the next four years.
The investment, according to Topaz Managing Director Niall Anderton, is part of its commitment to deliver best quality products and services as well as to strengthen its footprint as market leader.
It will finance the purchase of new pumps, forecourt renovation, upgrade and replacement of fuel tanks, and the implementation of new miles fuel brand.
"miles is a next generation fuel that contains a unique blend of additives designed to take motorists up to 3% further – which can potentially save motorists up to €600 per year at the pump," stated a company release.
The new fuel brand has been officially launched recently in Ireland at Topaz flagship station at Junction 5 on the M9 Dublin/Waterford Road, Rathcrogue, Co. Carlow.
It has been introduced in 90% of service stations and is expected be available in all stations by August 2017.
Launched in Stockholm, Sweden in April 2013 by Circle K, the miles fuel brand has been offered to consumers in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland and will soon be available across a total of 2,374 stations Europe-wide.
