Twenty cars affected by fuel-water mix up at Petronas site
Malaysian gas station shut down after the incidents came known.
A Petronas gas station in Solaris Besraya, Malaysia, has shut down after 20 cars stalled once they had fuelled up at the site.
In an immediate statement, Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB) apologised for the incident stating they are “taking the necessary measures and will compensate them accordingly.”
According to the Malasysian retailer, “the initial assessments indicate that this is due to product mishandling that happened only at this particular station.”
Petronas has Malaysia’s largest petroleum retail network with over 1,000 stations and 725 Kedai Mesra throughout the country.
