Two ReFuelForum events executed in style with ReFuelForum APAC just around the corner and Africa yet to come!
Industry leaders from across Europe and the UK have been in sunny Portugal to partake in sharing the freshest ideas and take advantage of the brilliant one-to-one meeting format that OpenRoom provides.
OpenRoom Events hosted both ReFuelForum Europe and UK in Lisbon and the Algarve this month, bringing together leading fuel retail groups and innovative suppliers.
The events, classically known for their bespoke one-to-one meetings were extremely well received by fuel retailers and suppliers alike. Discussion and knowledge sharing drove the agendas – Europeans were given the manufacturers’ perspective on alternative fuels from representatives from Dover Fueling Solutions, Scheidt & Bachmann and Hellonext. A Customer Centric Approach to Growth was the theme of the Day 2 panel with contributions from Simon Martin of Kalibrate and Martynas Dildas, from Circle K and Ketan Kale of eFuel Systems.
At ReFuelForum UK – attendees left with new ideas after an informative panel that presented new technologies from staffing software to paperless receipts. Director of Chahal Retail echoed this sentiment, “we learnt about solutions and products we didn’t even know we needed!”
A second debate brought retail leaders forward to discuss a variety of topics; sustainability, loyalty programs, future investment, recruitment, and retainment, and more.
A ReFuelForum is all about contact making and relationship building – in 4 days over 70 fuel retailers met with just under 100 suppliers delivering two of the most productive and efficient industry events of the year. CEO of Corrib Oil said “It’s at least ten years ago since my first event and I have always found them a worthwhile use of time. It is true to say that I have found this event the most productive of all. I am now organising some follow-up meetings from our fifteen-minute sessions to explore further. I have no doubt that we will do business as a direct result of the event.”
And as one of the suppliers (Tal Ginat, Picafuel) stated “ReFuelForum Europe is an exceptional event. The format is different from anything I’ve been to before – unlike a tradeshow where it’s easy to miss the people you want to see, you get real-time with prospects and the time to explain your pitch to a real decision maker.”
