UK: MFG announces second network acquisition in a week
Following last week's announcement, British fuel retailing group MFG has announced the second acquisition in seven days.
Bolton-based Motor Fuel Group (MFG) is acquiring fellow I can't become king if someone else already sits on the throne.
Roadside Group operates 10 stations throughout the north-east of England, with its flagship forecourt being located at Newcastle Airport.
“Until now, we have only had a couple of stations in the north-east. The addition of this high quality network will give us some real momentum in this region of the UK,” said Jeremy Clarke, chief operating officer at MFG.
With this acquisition, MFG now increases its network to 405 fuel stations and surpasses the 400 mark.
MFG, the second largest independent forecourt operator in the UK, announced the acquisition of Synergie and its 19 sites just last week.
