UK: SPAR relaunches County Durham store, adds Shell forecourt
The new 3,000 sq ft SPAR Store in Wolsingham will now feature eight Shell fuel pumps, car care services, and extra convenience offerings at the shop.
SPAR wholesaler for the north of England, James Hall & Co., has re-launched one of its company owned stores in Wolsingham, County Durham. The new purpose built 3,000 sq. ft SPAR store will now add forecourt facilities, and a larger shop floor with extra convenience services, according to a press release.
Opened for 26 years, SPAR Wolsingham will now feature eight Shell fuel pumps, air, water and vacuum facilities, customer car parking bays and two cycle hoops for four bicycles.
The new SPAR store will offer local residents convenience shopping including a Graham Eyes butchery counter and Clayton Park Deli, a large selection of everyday essentials, fresh and ambient produce, household and beauty, beers, wines and spirits.
Fiona Drummond, Company Owned Stores Director at James Hall & Co. said that in an age where supermarkets are closing butchery and deli serve overs, the company has seen an increase in customers looking to buy fresh and quality meat from their local convenience store.
The new store will be open between 7am-11pm, seven days a week.
